I'm trying to post my journey for me as a reflection of everything I have been through...2 brain surgeries in 1 year is major stuff. Recovering from my wisdom teeth and c-section was cake compared to this! I always thought it was the worst thing I endured....boy was I wrong.
Past few days have been rough. I'm having sharp shooting pains in my temple region along with arm tingling. It's stressful. I am anxious, depressed, stressed. I spoke to nurse at Stanford today and she said my feelings are all normal..I have been through a lot. My goal is to stay stress free, make sure I'm hydrated, resting and sleeping when my body tells me to and taking it easy. She also wants me to pay attention to my blood pressure which is pretty low!! So Mark is going to buy me a BP monitor tomorrow.
I'll get there and I'm positive about the future!
I also got some possible exciting news about Colton which could be a huge opportunity for him! We find out next in the next week. Hopefully this is the start of some good luck for our family. We can't seem to catch a break. Fingers crossed!
Kadyn has been keeping busy with her friends. She went to Rhode Island for a few days, Vermont, and bball camp. She's also doing a summer bball league which kills me that I can't watch because watching her play bball is my favorite thing to do!
3 weeks post op today. Black eye is gone, but still have a palsy on right side. Swelling is getting a little better, but not gone. Incision is so itchy!!!
